Story: A 10-year-old boy skips brass band practice. He is pleasantly surprised to arrive from school to an empty home, which he is left to revel in alone for the whole afternoon and evening. He enjoys the fact that no one dictates the course of his day. When the doorbell rings, he gets scared. He goes to the door with a knife in his hand, only to discover a policeman has come to give him some tragic news. The instant realization that his parents have passed away drives the boy into the night.

Story: In the feature film Krispan, inspired by the search for the miraculous in the mundane, a broader social picture is drawn through the intimate space of the protagonist’s seemingly simple teenage love story. During winter, as Tomi helps his uncle sell Christmas trees in Hungary, he observes a foreign environment and the people, while back in his hometown, a series of events unfold, intertwining the lives of Barbara, Luka, and himself.

Story: An intimate insight into early motherhood reveals the roots of life perceived from the viewpoint of two individuals that were once one. Unwanted toys on the playground form a synergetic bond with nature. Fertile soil gives birth to seeds, plants and small colorful objects. A baby travels into distant worlds in the mother’s womb, while a garden compost sings a lullaby. The pregnant woman is not shy and shows her belly growing. But she shyly reveals the Polaroid photo of her baby sprayed with breast milk. Nature grows a small microcosms of organisms in the photo to ease her self-absorption. The Earth is budding up with all the mommies in the world and they are building a farm together.
