FASIH – Future Art and Science Industrial Heritage

FASIH aims to bring together contemporary models for the revaluation and revitalisation of industrial heritage that, through the use of IT and new technological tools, provide new approaches to promote the value of cultural, scientific and industrial heritage, appealing to new generations of users of cultural and artistic content. FASIH focuses on interdisciplinary art-scientific research of industrial and cultural heritage discovering, exploring and evaluating those architectural achievements and intangible processes that have shaped the contemporary history of Belgrade, Rijeka and Trbovlje.

As valuable reflections of outstanding architectural and technological contributions to both national, regional and European history and their authentic modernity, their digital transfer into audiovisual, innovative new media content, it proposes possible models of revitalisation that are both interdisciplinary and environmentally friendly. The narratives from the industrial heritage documents and the envisaged artistic-scientific collaborations and processes will be fused into research projects (360 video, 3D printing, animations and simulations using VR, AR, XR, etc.). The final part of the project will be marked by exhibitions in all three cities, showing the final results of the two and a half years of collaboration.
