Vertigo Slate 2022: Chestnuts, Memory of Autumn Mists, OHO, Splashing around

Vertigo’s slate of projects consists of two fiction films, feature documentary film and TV series. All projects are intended as international co-productions. Two out of four projects are written and will be directed by debut female directors. First one is Chestnuts by Katarina Morano, a young and perceptive director whose previous short film Ljubljana – München 15:27 has been selected for Karlovy Vary Future Frames: Ten New Filmmakers To Follow and awarded at Sarajevo FF while her short Where to has been nominated for student Oscar. The other debut film is titled Memory of Autumn Mists and it’s written and will be directed by Martina Ščavničar. Third film in the slate is a feature documentary film OHO about Slovenian avant-garde movement which inspired many artists, including Marina Abramovič and is written and will be directed by internationally recognised auteur Damjan Kozole, whose career spans over two decades and includes films such as Slovenian Girl, Nightlife, Halfsister. The final project in the slate is a coming of age comedy TV series Splashing Around developed by screenwriter and director Hanna Szentpéteri.
