Get Art is a cultural association based in Angra do Heroísmo, on Terceira Island in the Azores, an EU outermoust Region. The organisation works at the intersection of arts, culture, and community engagement, promoting artistic creation, cultural participation, and social inclusion through the arts.

Angra do Heroísmo is classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, which provides a unique cultural and historical context for the organisation’s work. Within this environment, Get Art is particularly interested in developing projects that connect contemporary artistic practices with cultural heritage, local identity, and community participation.

The organisation develops interdisciplinary artistic and educational initiatives that bring together artists, communities, schools, and cultural institutions. Its activities include cultural programming, artistic workshops, participatory projects, community-based initiatives, and collaborations with local and regional partners.

Through its work, Get Art seeks to foster creativity, dialogue, and cultural exchange, while contributing to the cultural vitality of the Azores and promoting connections with national and international partners.

Get Art is interested in participating in cooperation projects related to cultural heritage, performing arts, contemporary arts, literature, and visual arts. We are particularly motivated to engage in interdisciplinary projects that connect artistic creation with community participation, cultural heritage valorisation, and cultural exchange. Projects that involve artistic residencies, collaborative creation, workshops, public programming, conferences, and educational activities are of particular interest. Located in Angra do Heroísmo, the organisation is especially interested in initiatives that explore the relationship between contemporary artistic practices and cultural heritage, while fostering dialogue between local communities and international artists.
