WONDERCUT – Collaboratively Exploring the Public Value of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to Next Level Cultural Experiences

In response to the growing significance of emerging technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI) across various sectors, it is crucial to address the challenges, opportunities, and risks affecting the cultural and creative sectors (CCSs). By leveraging the capacities, expertise, experience and tech enthusiasm of four partners from the civic sector (INNOVATO- SIovenia), creative sector (SHAPE LABS-Slovenia), and academic sector (UDK- Germany & AIT-Austria), this proposal aims to create enabling environment for collaboratively exploring the Public Value of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to Next Level Cultural Experiences. The goal is to democratise access to cultural institutions and gain a better understanding of audiences’ needs for engaging and participatory experiences.

The project uses the case of WONDERCUT, a cutting-edge web based app, leveraging AI to revolutionise the museum and gallery experience for the young audiences (Millennials and Gen Z) creating personalised and unforgettable memories. The projects’ work plan is narrowed with activities to asses the role of AI in promoting creativity and innovation, to boost new set of skills and competencies for the CCSs with in person learning program, to deploy technology steering human-centric approaches towards the audience interests (education- engagement- entertainment) and to enrich the museum and galleries experience. The WONDERCUT project targets the representatives of the CCSs professionals, and the academia sector and has a broad audience reach, effectively capturing the attention of both existing museum- goers and those who may not traditionally engage with cultural institutions.
