Skopje: Creative Europe – Western Balkan’s Window Call and the Regional Cultural Cooperation

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of North Macedonia (CED MK) is organizing a promotional and networking event dedicated to Creative Europe – Western Balkan’s Window Call in Skopje, from 5 to 6 February 2020.

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of North Macedonia (Creative Europe Desk Culture- Sub Programme) is organizing a two day promotional and networking event dedicated to ,,Creative Europe – Western Balkan’s Window Call and the Regional Cultural Cooperation’’ to be held in Skopje on 5th and 6th of February 2020 at European House in Skopje.

The focus of the event will be pointed on the new EU Creative Europe Western Balkans Cooperation Call (deadline: March 17, 2020), together with the view on the policy context of the regional and EU cultural cooperation in the process for supporting the capacity building of the cultural and creative sectors. The participants will be addressed by H.E. Mr Samuel Žbogar, Head of Delegation of the European Union, Dr. Hysni Ismaili, Minister of Culture of the Republic of North Macedonia and Ms Helene Skikos from the European Commission.

The event is a great opportunity for networking and gathering in-depth information about the Western Balkans Cooperation Call. CED representatives from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Serbia and Slovenia (Ms Mateja Lazar) will attend the event where they will outline the cultural ecosystem of their respective countries as well as highlight some organizations that are relevant and interested to initiate international cooperation in the Western Balkans.

The event is organized in cooperation with the European Commission (DG EAC), Delegation of European Union in Skopje, Creative Europe Desks and the cultural organizations from the respective Western Balkan’s and EU countries as follows: Republic of Albania, Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Bulgaria, Republic of Croatia, Hellenic Republic, Republic of Kosovo, Republic of Serbia and Republic of Slovenia.
