LIVEMX – Supporting the European live music sector and beyond
Supported by Music Moves Europe, LIVEMX aims to nurture a more diverse and sustainable music sector through dedicated funding designed to answer the very specific needs of the European music ecosystem. The call is open, deadline is 6th of January 2024.
LIVEMX, co-funded by the European Union, aims to nurture a more diverse and sustainable music sector in Europe. A central part of the project is a leading-edge funding scheme designed to address very specific needs within the European music ecosystem. Over the project´s timeframe (2023-2024), three calls for proposals will encourage music professionals to take a leading role in responding to the immediate challenges of the sector.
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, challenges such as cross-border mobility of musicians, and sustainability in the industry, require a vision that involves all stakeholders. The funding scheme, which foresees 4 million EUR of cascade funding, will support 90 music sector beneficiaries with grants and capacity-building actions focusing on three specific topics: “music export”, “music venues” and “digital circulation and engagement”.
