Web 3.0 Accelerator for Sustainable Cultural Tourism (Web3Tour)

The cultural tourism sector is a vital part of the European economy, but it is facing challenges as it adapts to web 3.0 and green transitions. The sector needs to acquire new skills and knowledge to remain competitive and sustainable to this new web 3.0 era. This proposal aims to address these challenges by creating a specialized accelerator that will provide targeted training and capacity-building activities in the areas of decentralization, entrepreneurship, professional development, digitalization, and sustainable business models. The accelerator will also create opportunities for cultural tourism professionals to network, connect and collaborate with peers and experts. The accelerator will provide training, mentoring and peer learning opportunities to participants. Training sessions will focus on the latest trends and technologies, such as blockchain and decentralized markets, social media marketing and virtual reality technologies, to support sustainable cultural tourism development. Participants will be able to attend webinars, workshops and lectures to learn from experts and to network with their peers in the sector. Additionally, the accelerator will provide access to funding and resources to support innovative initiatives in the sector. This project will create a positive impact on the cultural tourism sector by helping participants adapt to web 3.0 and green transition. It will equip professionals with the right skills and resources to ensure their sustainable business model. The project will also raise awareness about the importance of web 3.0 and green transition, and will promote cross-sector collaborations to foster innovative solutions. Ultimately, this project will help the tourism sector to become more efficient, resilient, and sustainable.The target group for this project will be artists and professionals in the cultural tourism sector, including cultural managers, heritage managers, cultural tourism operators, and other related professionals.
