Creative Industries Development Centre (KUL)

The goal of the project Razvojni centar kreativnih industrija (KUL) is to help individuals to advance in creative and entrepreneurial development so that they can monetize their own creative activities. This project will strengthen the creative industries in the region through education, development of human potential, encouragement of cooperation between project stakeholders, encouragement of innovation, creation of new jobs.

The project is focused on three creative industries: Sustainable cultural tourism, fashion and design, and crafts. Each of the partners will organize and implement all activities related to the creative sector for which they will be in charge.

The Development centre Murska Sobota from Slovenia will be in charge of sustainable cultural tourism. Environmental protection engineers from Serbia – in cooperation with the Association of Craftsmen will organize activities related to crafts. The Centre for Lifelong Learning and Culture Bjelovar will organize all activities related to fashion and design.

The educational part of the project was conceived through three phases: 1. educations and workshops on entrepreneurship, marketing and finance; 2. educations and workshops where creativity is encouraged, in general the educations and workshops will be focused on the three creative sectors that this project covers; 3. mobility: each of the partners organizes educations, workshops and practicums from one of the mentioned sectors, which will be held in the partner’s country. The first two phases will mostly be held online. In addition to training, participants will participate in fairs and/or exhibitions where they will present their own creative work. Each of the partners will collect a minimum of 15 participants. This project aims at a minimum of 45 educated people from the field of creative industries who will be able to apply the acquired knowledge in their creative work, which will help them in their professional development.
