Culture Moves Europe: residency projects
89 residency projects in the first Call for Residency Hosts selected, among them 4 project from Slovenia. Some of the 89 residencies already published open calls for artists and cultural workers.
Culture Moves Europe provides mobility grants for artists and cultural professionals in all 40 creative Europe countries. It covers the sectors of architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literary translation, music, performing arts and visual arts.
With a budget of €21 million, Culture Moves Europe offers mobility grants to around 7,000 artists, cultural professionals and host organisations from 2022 to 2025. Funded by the creative Europe programme of the European Union, Culture Moves Europe is implemented by the Goethe-Institut.
The Goethe-Institut has selected 89 residency projects in the first Call for Residency Hosts, among them 4 project from Slovenia.
Some of the 89 residencies are already looking for participants coming from all 40 Creative Europe countries to take part at their residency open calls. E. g. see open call for 2 dancers (18 – 30 years old) to participate for 1 month (February 2024) in a residency project in the small town of Loviisa, in the south of Finland. The project, under the name “In Flesh and Blood”, is organised in collaboration with the local dance company Tanssiartesaani. Deadline for applications: 10.10.2023 at 23:59 (CET).
The new CultureMovesEurope calls are about to re-open in October 2023.
