At this year’s Bologna Children’s Book Fair, the Creative Europe Desks from Italy, Portugal, and Slovenia invite you to a panel discussion Creative Europe: EU Funding Opportunities for Literature and Publishing Sector on March 31 at 3:30 PM about projects supported by Creative Europe that promote the transnational circulation of literature, publishing, and the entire book value chain. The first part of the panel will focus on projects from LIT calls, while the second part will cover projects from COOP calls. Two representatives from Slovenian publishing houses, Alenka Urh from KUD Sodobnost International and Barbara Pregelj from založba Malinc, will share their experiences.

We also invite you to the roundtable Putting Literary Translation and Translated Literature in the Spotlight: Translators on the Cover, organized by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport, and Culture on April 1 at 10:00 AM. The event will present a European report on supporting the translation sector.
